We rely on fundraising in order to purchase new equipment and materials for our classroom. Although it is not mandatory, we encourage parents to participate in the various fundraising efforts throughout the year. Fundraising also defers the cost of some field trips. We appreciate any and all of the support from our families.
School Wide Garage Sale
Each September we hold a school wide garage sale. This is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year. We ask for donations and help from our families.
Fall/Family Outings
Each Fall we like to plan a Fall Family Outing at a local business. It’s a great time to have fun with your family and to meet other families, all while helping to support our school.
Spring Fundraiser
One of our biggest fundraisers takes place in the Spring. In the past we have done a Dinner and Auction Night, a Golf Outing and Silent Auction, and a Bowling Bash. If you are interested in helping, please email our Board of Directors at mssboardofdirectors@gmail.com

Tax Deductible Donations/PayPal: We are a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization and rely on donations. You will be given a receipt for your donation for tax purposes. Make checks payable to Montessori School of Schenectady or pay using our PayPal Donate Now button on our homepage. Any amount is greatly appreciated.
United Way: With The Montessori School being a non-profit organization you can donate through the United Way. If your employer participates in an annual United Way Campaign, please write our name on your pledge card and we will receive a check from your donations.
