Area should be organized and well lit
Materials should be presented at child’s height
Artwork adds a nice touch
Allow your child to participate in developing the area
Area should be free of electronic devices
Rotate materials as child accomplishes new skills and/or when boredom sets in.
Useful Items to Include: Baskets, trays, mirror, work mats, stool, child size table and chairs, smock, and cleaning tools such as sponges, mop, broom, dust pan, spray bottle and absorbent cloths.
